The coverage gap begins when you and TEAMStar have spent $2,830 on drugs. Now you pay for 100% of your prescriptions. |
$4,550 | Catastrophic Coverage |
Catastrophic coverage begins when you have spent $4,550 on drugs. For the rest of the year, your TEAMStar Medicare Part D Platinum plan pays 95% of your drug costs; you pay 5%. During catastrophic coverage you will pay the greater of $2.50 for generic drugs or drugs that are treated like generics, and $6.30 for all other drugs or 5% coinsurance. We pay the rest. |
Monthly premiums are reduced to $114 for the Platinum plan if you elect to pay premiums by monthly bank draft. Note: Monthly premium shown does not reflect any Medicare imposed penalties for enrollment.
