Who is eligible for TEAMStar Medicare Part D?
Teamster retirees and spouses who are currently enrolled in Medicare Parts A and/or B qualify for TEAMStar Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage. Participation is not automatic — you must enroll in Medicare Part D to receive benefits. You are entitled to this program regardless of your health history or the drugs you take. If you have limited income and resources, you may qualify for extra help. Contact the Social Security Administration at 800-772-1213 to see if you qualify.
The International Brotherhood of Teamsters Voluntary Employee Benefits Trust contracts with the federal government and is a Medicare-approved provider of the Part D plan.
